Wednesday nights power: 3012 & 3016 and roughly 50 cars.

Train stopped to drill the feed mill in Narrowsburg.

I tracked the progress of our chase using EveryTrail on my Droid X. Lots of annoying traffic and random construction hindered parts of tonights chase.

SU 99, July 6, 2011....Like most with the time to spare, I too followed the train west. Had it not been for a hi-rail track patrol(for heat kinks etc...) ahead of the train, requirng numerous Form D, Line 2 extensions, the chase would have been more challenging. Looks like NYSW picked up 2 more leasers, is this because most of their regular power is down for the count?
What's the primer leaser? I see they went with another CEFX "bluebird", also, does anyone know how long they'll be around for?

They have 3 new leased units from CEFX, SD40-2 3108, SD40M-2 3126 and 3143. They're on extended lease so they'll be around for a while. I'm not sure of the exact length, if there is one.
