Hi guys!

It´s already some time ago, but I wanted to show you some new videos.

Let´s start with some recordings from last Saturday, when a friend of mine and I chased the wonderful bavarian S 3/6 3673, or 18 478 on its round trip through the Allgäu.
The trip started in Stuttgart, and then via Ulm, Augsburg, Kempten to Lindau at Lake Constance. From Lindau the train returned to Ulm via Friedrichshafen.
In the morning it was very foggy, because the railway line is near the Danube. But the fog disappeared, when we went to the south.
This steam locomotive was built in 1918 for the Royal Bavarian State Railways, and is now owned by the Bavarian Railroad Museum in Nördlingen.

The next video shows some recordings from August 2011, when the Austrian Arlberg-railway line was closed because of construction works for about 3 weeks.
In this time all night and freight trains are diverted through the Allgäubahn and are hauled by diesel locomotives of the types 218, 225 and 232, which have a great sound.
This is only part 1, which shows the recordings of August 10, 2011. Part 2 is following in a few days.

=> By the way: Watch the video with headphones or just turn up your speakers, the locomotives of the type 225 have a very impressive sound! ;)

If you have any questions, you can ask me of course.
