nice shot harleyfiremedic! the first time I went to Palmer, I went 2 hours without seeing a train and this local was 1 of 3 trains that I saw that morning

Here's a shot of CSXT 2208 on the W001 sitting on the Westward Siding in Saint Albans, West Virginia on a very gloomy Sunday afternoon......

I got this one of B725 in Sherborn at Goulding St. back in September 2006, on a particularly foggy morning:



To this day, I haven't encountered any conditions to get another shot like it.

CSXT engine #781 heads west through Saint Albans, West Virginia on the westbound V384 with Duke Power loads bound for the yard at Russell, Kentucky.


CN 2696 and IC 1035 lead a westbound Kilo Eight Niner Eight Zero Three through Saint Albans.

Here are a couple of my recent shots.

First coal train U831 freshly loaded off the Sailsbury Branch in Meyersdale, PA on the west slope of Sand Patch. The train is running west to the crossovers at Yoder and Garett where the power will be run around and the train will head east.

Was in New York doing some fishing, and of course always looking for trains. Caught this one as i got out of the car.
