Well , I'e walked the Techapachi loop route, which not many can claim to , but you don't need to live in a palce to see the problems etc. Especially with Google streetview etc today. From memory, the hep connectors have a shorter pin that controls a contactor, cutting the power pins off. It loses contact before the live pins, so they should be dead when disconnecting.
