Tracks 1-4 won't have staircases, but when the track is posted, you could easily walk to those tracks, if necessary. Use Departurevision.
Just because Moynihan isn't marked as NJT, doesn't mean you can't wait for your train there...….
I believe a Croxton local is carrying them. I do remember when BUOI and OIBU used to make a stop there.
The amount of traffic on the line is actually pretty significant. I believe most of the CSX gen freights make stops at OI. All of the CSX port container traffic, autorack traffic and ethanol traffic take the route.
NS combines some of the traffic with Erail trains since it’s right next door. Right now, they don’t really run the National Docks at all except to occasionally shuffle cars around. The only reason they ever would run there is if they decided to run traffic north to Binghamton and Buffalo via Port Je...
Keep going up the line and you get to Ramsey Main Street. People have been barking about that crossing for years due to people getting hit. They recently did safety improvements and put up fencing, but people will still find ways to get hit.
I would assume reverse commuters either take the bus, or head over to the Main/Bergen.

So NJT will do just enough to get an extension, then do nothing for 2 years and cry in 2021 that they can't get it done.
The railroads already got one PTC inspection and are now hoping for more. The truckers didn't get this when campaigning against ELD's...

These trains should really stop at NYP, SEC, NWK and go straight to Monmouth Park without stopping. I remember the express trains also used to skip Elberon and Allenhurst back in the day and head straight to Asbury Park.
Probably the least amount of Summer service that the line has seen in decades...
The times and meets can be thrown out the window now as MTA is doing emergency bridgework and no trains are going past Harriman.
I don't believe anyone actually sits in the middle seat anyway. That's probably why they made the ML are now 2x2
