They were purchased with state bond money, so they could not be scrapped until said was expired, which I think was about 2 or 3 years ago. Shame, half the cars have never been used once..

Thank you Krispy. Would anyone know when Cabin M was closed (I imagine before the fire) and more importantly who took over the machine there? Did what Cabin M Control, move to Jay? Theres a great story in wreck of the Penn Central about the classic examples of customers who get cars on long branch lines where the crew costs more to go get it, then the car brings in to the railroad. Sometimes it is just not economical to ship by rail..
