The Rochester Chapter, National Railway Historical Society has released a great DVD featuring Steam from Rochester NY to East Salamanca. This is all color.

Yes, a great vintage production, though it is not new. It was released on VHS at an earlier time. I got my copy on DVD recently. As far as I know, it is the only commercially-released video of railroading on the Niagara Division of the B&O, outside that of what Bill Price might have taken in '53 and '54, unless someone else knows of other vintage films from that time.

Yes, this is a re-release of the VHS version. Video has been cleaned up a little and includes some footage from the meseum.

It's an excellent color film that documents the line between Rochester and East Salamanca... great shots of locations that have changed drastically over the last fifty years. A sometimes corny narration, but the images can't be beat!
