I posted a while ago on this company, because it was listed as a NYC predecessor (e.g. on Wikipedia) and yet nobody had any info on it or even heard of it.

I've just found it in the WV Mines Dept Report of 1904. It was a branch off the KVW at Boomer, near Charlestown. "Bowman" became "Boomer" in the local dialect, I suppose. The watercourse up which it ran is now the Boomer Branch.

This is the only place in Google Books where it occurs.
