Earlier this year it was reportedly for sale and possibly in danger of being scrapped.

The caption on the photo says it was taken in Jim's back yard, Moorestown, NJ.

Bob Vogel, the photographer might have more info.

I just spoke to Jim. There are no plans to scrap the caboose.
There is a prospective buyer in Moorestown, but he's waiting for Jim to pass on. Jim is 91 years old and in poor health.
