Names of Fl-9 and Gennies

I remember a posting on the old board about a Gennie that was named for someone. I also recall some of the Fl-9's were also named. Does anyone recall which units were named, and who were they named for? :roll:

2017 = The Duke
2012 = Lightning

2017 was the Duke
2005 Mussioli
2013 R.C Kirner

2012 never had a name on it.
currently the 213 has R.C. Kirner's signature under the window.
The late Dick Kirner was Chief Mechanical Officer when MNCR was created and became Vice President Operations.
he was a big influence on making the fleet better after years of defered maintenance under Penn Central and Conrail.
