South Shore logo imposter!

was bouncing around the web working on something, this popped up.

says its a livery logo, uhm, used where? maybe on signals or crossings, switches?

That's a new one on me...I can safety say I've never seen that anywhere on the railroad.

I'm pretty sure that picture was mislabeled. That is the logo on Sand Springs 68, a small interurban car at IRM.

I emailed the author of the pic, maybe get it corrected.

The author admitted a mistake and would correct it, he visited the IRM and made an assumption.


The noted "South Shore" line is real but a totally different line, just like there is a Deluth, South Shore and Atlantic...or whatever that name was...The logo is not an imposter, just a coincindence
