If Septa could regularly achieve those numbers on the R5 Lansdale/Doylestown Express Trains, the ridership would definitely increase. When the train ride is only 5 or 10 minutes faster than driving, people will opt for the freedom and privacy of their cars.

The Silverliner IV's are not governed. I rode on the R5 (PRR side) at 100mph several months ago. Actually, one speedomerter read 100, the other 102
