Passengers using four mid-day trains on the Port Jervis line will be bused between Harriman and Middletown Thursday to accommodate railroad maintenance work.
Marjorie Anders, a spokeswoman for Metro-North Railroad, said the track work is being done between Salisbury Mills and Campbell Hall and will be completed in one day.
The two mid-day trains to and from Port Jervis will run as usual. The four trains affected either originate or terminate in Middletown. They are the 7:51 a.m. from Hoboken that arrives in Middletown at 9:55 a.m.; the 10:54 train from Middletown that arrives in Hoboken at 12:39 p.m.; the 1:15 p.m. from Hoboken that arrives in Middletown at 2:56 p.m. and the 3:24 p.m. from Middletown that arrives in Hoboken at 5:11 p.m.
Metro-North customer service representatives will be on hand in Harriman to assist passengers in transferring between buses and trains.
