On my recent trip to Canada - Toronto to Montreal (on VIA 1) and then on to Halifax (Easterly Class) - I picked up the new VIA timetable. I noticed some additional frequencies in the East (i.e. Niagara Falls), but also noted the Skeena, as I suspected, has pulled back from its four days a week during peak season to three days per week. Wish the Skeena had better connections with the Canadian - and its too bad they couldn't get the Skeena's terminus back to Edmonton where it would be closer to airport access (and I don't mean the airport next to the Edmonton train station). Also heard that the Malahat is running on a more tighter schedule.
