Directional Running in Ontario

I've noticed in a few publications there's plans in the works for Directional Running in Ontario between Parry Sound and Sudbury. I think the plan is for southbound to use CN, and northboud to use CP between the communities. Would this affect VIA as well ? The current VIA station in Parry Sound is on the CN line, and the old CP Station has been converted to an art gallery. Does anybody have any insight ?

I was railfanning at South Parry this week and have noticed significant work on rail, ballast, signals and switches at the crossovers for CP Parry Sound Sub and CN Bala. Looks like the directional project is moving forward.
