Train strikes man at Center Moriches - 9/6

The fire department is responding to a requet for a washdown at the railroad tracks and brookfield road. I hope that nobody was hurt too seriously out there.

Anyone know what happened?

The westbound heading for Patchouge hit and killed a kid that walked around the Pedestrian gate. The kid had headphones on so he never heard it coming.

not to lose sight of the sadness of another lost soul... that train only had 14 people?

The train that struck the person in Center MOriches had just left Speonk. So there was probably not many on the train.
