NJT wasting money is nothing new.

In 2003 NJT purchased a plot of land in Lakehurst for a train station.

It’s never been touched since then.

This is going to be interesting to watch given the agency's precarious position in regards to revenue shortfalls. Better get the popcorn out.

The plot of land is next to the Route 70 bridge. I’ve been told it’s on a tax map somewhere. Tried looking but phone isn’t cooperating as usual
