Tie job in full swing today on Freight 1 and 2 in Dover yard. BODO did a live re-crew on the mainline around 10:35. While I was there a boom truck brought in another load of new ties. Also on Ne-rail today a photo of NA-1 at Hendricks showed a couple bundles of new ties in the background!!

The Greenville Industrial had two right at the end. Not sure if they still do.

As of November 2022 there were still the two customers at the end of the Greenville Industrial.

Thanks
Funny that they still call it that despite no trains going anywhere near Greenville for many many decades

Railroad names for things tend to stick around long after the reason for the name no longer exists. How many decades has it been since the Danvers IT actually went to Danvers, or the South Reading IT extended all the way from Peabody to South Reading (or, for that matter, since the "Eastern Route" was actually owned by the Eastern Railroad?

Apparently a new detector is being installed in Littleton on the Stony Brook Branch . A track foreman told today's M427 by radio "to watch out for the crew working at the new detector at 311." I'm not sure if it is east or west of Gilson Road crossing.

Is there anywhere that lists all the detectors on the old PanAm now CSX system? I was wondering if anyone has that information.

Yep, that will be the first detector you'll hit leaving PAS and entering their railroad.

That list is missing 3 alone in old D4.

Sucks to see the old siding names many are now out of business.
