The Washington Post (and others) have details today on the life and unfortunate early death of Matt Hilburn, the author of the infamous Unsuck DC Metro Twitter account, who died of kidney cancer. https://www.washingtonpost.com/obituari ... etro-dies/. As a new rider to the system back in 2012, I follow his critiques and appreciated his sometimes lonely voice demanding more accountability when things seemed to be going worse and worse for riders. That said, later on I thought the criticism sometimes was criticism just for the sake of it and found newer voices expressing my thoughts as a rider. Still, an unfortunate untimely death.
