Recent utility work along Edgehill Road in Abington Township has unearthed old ties along the old Route 6 trolley ROW that probably haven't seen the light of day in a century or more. They are in amazing condition given their age and some even still have the rail clips attached. Trolleys last ran along this route in 1957.

This is amazing! I wish Septa kept Route 6 trolley in service but I found some photos online where its ROW could have dedicated lanes for itself but it's sad that septa got rid of them
