what are the "insane" lengths of these cars? 50'? 60'? 89'? unless you are counting a 5-unit stack/well "car", the only insane length car that comes to mind is a schnabel car.

... and of course we don't yet know whether train (or car) length had anything to do with the cause of the derailment.
