In the support letters of the CSX STB filing: "The commercial and residential propane distributors in New England are Sea-3's customers and look to Sea-3 for reliable and economic supply of propane in the region.
Blackline is expecting the CSXT Sales and Marketing team to follow through on its intentions to
explore and implement new supply chain solutions and market opportunities for expanded rail
movements of propane into Sea-3 which would support Blackline's ability to meet those
customer expectations. Black:line needs lower rail transportation unit costs, more frequent rail
service and expanded railcar blocks per delivery for better overall productivity which will lead to
improved overall performance and economics for the propane consumers in New England. "
Every letter of support clearly followed the same template, but the SEA-3 one was a little more interesting because they indicated a desire to increase service rather than just using the exact same quote as many other letters.
Looks like they are using more of the track just short of Patterson Lane in Newington. Presumably due to the recent uptick in LPG moves. The track the other side of the street is pretty clear and has been for a while which makes me wonder if they will be using that any time soon.

I always thought the intent was to use the siding between Patterson Ln and Sprague Terminal to run the engine(s) around the consist, instead of shoving the cars to Sea-3?
It takes real skill to choke on air, fall up the stairs and trip over nothing. I have those skills.
Lots more activity recently. 24 new loads came in yesterday afternoon and there are already 6 or 7 loads in the yard and another 24 on the passing track at Rockingham waiting to come down to Portsmouth.
Here is a video of DO-1 coming in yesterday with two GRS engines.
Also, in other news it looks like they are going to repair the rail crossing at Depot Road at the GBDC. Long overdue.
Yes. Whoever buys Pan Am will keep this branch. There still a good amount of revenue/movement it seems and they are moving lots more LPG of late too. Also this line links up the Navy Yard via the bridge.
Absolutely. Several active customers, some with growth potential. And it's pretty short. No reason to dump it.
