Hi Gang (especially you M of E folks!),

It seems that most of the M3s no longer have their battery lighting working any more. There should be 6 fluorescent fixtures remaining lit when the car is gapped, one at each end and a pair on either side of each vestibule. Riding home tonight in an M3 (sorry, no #) the car became pitch black, save for the glowing emergency evacuation stickers all over the place. Is this one more item no longer deemed important enough to maintain? Has anybody else noticed this?

Jes' curious....

Yeah, I'd be more concerned if you saw only one or two of those "inverter ballast" emergency lighting fixtures on, meaning the breaker is on, and four or five fixtures are inoperative. If you see all six off, it's a safe bet the breaker was left shut off.
Employees oftentimes forget to turn things back on when they leave.
Emergency lighting being so important, I'd like to see a little less forgetting to put the breakers back on.
