Day 2 of house arrest, watching septa on YouTube. Looking at the Kawasaki cars, next to the Amber rotating light ( never see them on, why?) there is a small box that looks like an opticom emitter used for traffic light exemption. We had them on our trucks and ambus where I worked. They have an infra red filter so you cant see them flash.

Also remember a lollipop Amber light on the old PCCs as well, possibly a do Ray or Federal. Purpose?

I need to learn how to cut a photo off a video. (working on some cuts now).
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Either youtube help or google or both showed me how to save a still from a video. I don't remember it, but I know I found it once so you probably should be able to. I also can't remember if it needed 3rd party software, but however I got it was for free, although I bet there's professional software you could buy that will do what I did without paying.
Or you could just give us the video link and tell us the time that has the image you want us to see. Google also tells how to compose a url that has a specific start time.

You don't want to see the amber light on. It's to signal there's an emergency on board that requires a first responder. The destination sign will flash a corresponding message to call 911 when that is activated.

The black box is indeed an Opticom emitter. I believe all of the trolley corridors are now equipped with receivers.
