Ha, very cool, thanks for the infrared image, Tom! Nice shots from the past 2 weeks, Jason; the loaded tank car goes to Bel-Ray Company, a producer of high-end lubricants which is situated right next to Brick Recycling. The tank car is trans-loaded onto a 40ft tank trailer (probably takes 3 or 4 offloads to this 18-wheeler), which is then taken around the corner to the Bel-Ray plant for offloading to one of their storage tanks. I do not know what is in this car, but it is considered 'dangerous', thereby necessitating transport no closer than 6 cars from the head-end. Brick Recycling & Bel-Ray have an agreement where Bel-Ray can use the one track on Brick Recycling's 2-track siding for their inbound loads. Bel-Ray is right beside the Southern, like Brick Recycling, but does not have a siding into their plant.
Clocks change this weekend, so shadows should soon disappear, thankfully......will post when the crew rumbles by me in a few hours for those interested.
