I'm off work tomorrow (12/21) and if possible, would like to get out in the morning and get a few pictures of #2308 in action.
Has anyone seen the ALP-44 lately or happen to know what train it's currently been on?

It was seen at 30th Street today 12/20/16 around 9:30pm going into Powelton yard, however 2301 was in the front with 2308 behind it, both units had pans up but the coaches appeared to be dead.

2308 died yesterday. 2301 drug it and its coaches to FR. 2308 is at FR in the shop for now.

The DOT 216 is off for the holidays so 2301 was able to replace the 2308. DOT 216 resumes it's Septa tour on 1-8-17.

2308 has been sitting in Powelton Yard since before X-mas coupled to the DOT train.

Tonight too. Broke down in Newark though, so inbound passengers had to take train 1256 instead.

My bad, jumped the gun on that slightly. I found out yesterday that it was a door issue that kept the train in Newark, not a locomotive issue.

I almost never see 2308 on the West Trenton line, but it led 6321 on Monday morning, February 27.

Managed to see 2301-3 and 2305-8 today, as well as the Frankentrain. Thanks for all the advice earlier!

Was through Croydon this evening with my girlfriend (she was driving) and we paced Septa Trenton Line #9745 for a few hundred yards while paralleling the NEC on Bristol Pike. I managed a cellphone shot of AEM-7 #2305 on the point.

Has anyone referred to SEPTA's feet as "the brave little toasters" yet? If they haven't I think we should get that started.
