Question about local/express routing through Bryn Mawr

And I have been on and seen my share of Keystones that use the outer tracks all the way, Philly to Paoli. Mainly because of the Ardmore stop. Really, it is all a crapshoot, based on SEPTA overtakes and whatnot. You never know what you are going to get...

Do you think it's a coincidence that the interlockings are spaced in about 5 mile increments ?

They may not actually be at the exact milepost but did the PRR do this intentionally for train blocking between expresses, limiteds and locals ?

Frazer wasn't around in the PRR days. That one went in during the late 1990's to allow SEPTA direct east end access to/from Frazer shops. West of Paoli, the next interlockings were Glen (connection to the Trenton Cut-off, now NS Dale Secondary, and also west end access to/from Frazer shops), then Downs, east of Downingtown station.
