Here's #320 at the other end of the table c.1955:

Anyone with an idea as to the circa date on the top photo? When was the bell added to these engines? Thanks.

I assume these were homemade by the LIRR shops? Each seems to be basically a single MP-54 type motor truck, with a sort of superstructure above it. Barely one truck length!

One of these would make an interesting scratchbuild project. Start with a NorthWest Short Line power truck. should have room for a Z-scale decoder.
