I heard that the original ALP-46 fleet is being rebuilt and receiving EBells. Is this true?

That's hardly a rebuild.

They're supposedly doing more than just adding EBells. They are also upgrading the horsepower (not sure by how much) and upgrading its maximum speed to 125 MPH, as opposed to its original 100 MPH.

I don't suspect that qualifies as a rebuild either. I suspect they were all capable of 125 from the factory.

I think that the ALP-46s are only allowed to reach 100MPH, while the ALP-46As are allowed to reach 125. It would make sense for the rebuild to give the ALP-46s the same capabilities.

Any update on what this "rebuild" will consist off?
