Bob Vogel (I think) some photos of the 4410 on a six-car multilevel set in Hamilton from quite a number of years ago (2007 or 2008?) As far as I have been told, the 44s were dogs with more than four MLs.
Google images is pretty useless as a search tool.

You can't see the motor but it is at the end of that train.

And of course there was the short-lived ACES service.

When ML's first came there was an odd combination of a 44 with 11 cars and 46 on the other end. The train worked the corridor but it was short lived.

Yes, ALP-44's were briefly used on 6 car multi-level trains. I ran one of the last ones in December of 2008 on the NEC. Anything over 6 multi-levels over loaded the HEP and seriously impacted acceleration of the 44's.

Are the 44's still rusting away on the Lackawanna Cutoff? They should donate them to use as FEMA housing or something!

They're still there.
