Iowa Pacific trip on Rock Island

Last week, the Chicago Rail Superintendent Association chartered IP's train from LaSalle station to Bureau, IL and back on the Rock Island district. Here are a few cool videos. I even heard that the train was in LaSalle station but was on my way to catch a train to Memphis and couldn't spare the time.

Saw that train sitting in Metra's Western Ave. yard (Milw District) one morning last week. I guess now I know where it was going.

I'm looking forward to the IP making regular runs to Indianapolis. Although the engines will vary, these are nice looking trains.

I saw it roll past my office, both outbound and return. I was wondering where it was going.
