More off peak dual mode trains into Penn Station.

Will there or has anyone heard if off peak and maybe dual modes will be used perhaps on the Montauk Branch between Patchugue and Penn Station anytime soon?

Nothing wrong with making passengers transfer if the connecting train is not overcrowded, which is usually not a problem off-peak except summer Sundays (when they do run some into NYP impromptu if the equipment can do it)
