I have to wonder how many new short-line operations will be created once CSX gets done sorting out which routes don't meet their criteria regarding profitability.
A thought along this line of thinking: the entire Hillsboro branch to the Milford & Bennington.
Enough business from existing customers to allow operations while seeking growth?
Monadnock paper is sitting at the end of track but, how many miles away from current operations?
