Does anyone know the reason that the B&O maintained 2 stations
at Portsmouth, which was at the end of a branch line?

A 1943 Official Guide shows one round-trip passenger run which
stopped at Waller St. Station and at Market St. Station.

Thanks in advance.

Thought that we'd bring this up again to see if anybody can help with an answer.

I strongly suggest that you post your inquiry over at the Yahoo! B&O Forum. There is an extremely strong knowledge base of almost everything B&O at that venue, and is the primary hangout for members of the B&O RR Historical Society. Of course, you'll have to join that forum to post your question. The URL for the B&O Yahoo! forum is http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/B ... e_and_Ohio.

I am researching this line and may be able to provide some insight. I'll check my files this evening to see what I have.
