No photos, but I recall that, as of 1982, the TV terminal was at the north end of the street and basically squeezed into a narrow strip of property along the mains. Very cramped. Makes you respect how NYC made the SuperVan trains work.
That is why the RoadRailer terminal built in 1982 was carved out of the yard on the north side of the mains--later appropriated by Conrail as their IM terminal, after the RR operation folded. Little known fact: The north side terminal was built with welded rail because L. Stanley Crane insisted that if the New York State Dept of Transportation was paying for it, Conrail would get CWR out of it.
