Late 1930s or 40s, apparently. I would assume the Broadway Station (then Warren Point) would have a larger structure than the two elevated platforms used today.

It would probably have to be after 1938, as I believe the PSNJ River Line trolley were still active until then. If this was a grade crossing up until then, it would be very interesting to see the same spot while the trolleys were still running. I have never seen any photos of Broadway from the Passaic River bridge out to Paramus from that era, and there is a lack of Paterson photos as well, though some books and websites do cover a lot of the other territories. My mom used to work at the Grand Union headquarters around the time I was born (early 50's), but that area too had just been redeveloped a few years earlier.
