Going to post all of my videos for the month. Most videos will be shot on Norfolk Southern's AGS South District around the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area

Train 19 meets Train at Coaling on the first day of the best month of the year. As an added extra bnus you get to see Norfolk Southern Train 198 with one pulling and one pushing

Happen to catch Alabama Southern's "Pulling for the Tide" GP35's returning from
morning switching duties at Nucor Steel. This is the first time since being
repainted that I have been able to catch them on the move. I hung around the ABS
yard and shot some flat switching. Nice to hear those EMD's and old horns.

I caught NS 345 at Woodstock on my way back to Tuscaloosa. After shooting a quick video I chased it to Tuscaloosa stopping at Echo Lake crossing to see if I could get a shot (I did, just barely). Hauled ass to Kicker Road for the last shot all on October 14, 2011 in less than 40 minutes with afternoon traffic to deal with. My new motorcycle is proving itself worthy of chasing!

I'm kicking myself in the butt for not taking the risk at taking Train 20 to
Birmingham and catching a really late Train 19 back to Tuscaloosa. Both trains
were scheduled into Birmingham at 3:05 and with my luck 19 would have made it to
the station first but that's not how it worked out. So I was left in Tuscaloosa
shooting video's...too bad

Amtrak Train 20 holds the main and waits for Train 19 to arrive at Bryant
Siding. After 19 gets in the clear at Bryant the crew of 20 heads out of town.
Great horn work guys!
Train 19 then backs out of Bryant and goes on to the station. Check out the
Conductor on 19 blowing the 10th Street crossing....sweet

Be sure to note AMTK 20 was leading 20. Rumored to be a piece of junk!

These Amtrak crews are the best!
