Found this while browsing on nycsubway.org. This picture looks like the early 1910 MU order later modernized by plating over the arch in the windows... nice!

I actually remember seeing these kinds of MU's in operation when I was a little kid. As I recall, I was intrigued that the train was moving without a locomotive! :wink: It was for that reason that I was never overly fond of MU's to this very day! WHERE'S THE BEEF???

Part of me looks at an M-7 with almost the same reaction; "Nice looking set of Bombardier LRC Coaches with a new door placement. Where's the locomotive??"

We used to refer to the 1100's as "The NEW Trains". How times haven't changed....
