Whilst spending the first few days of my summer break on another rail-related forum, one of the users brought light upon one of the most interesting locomotives I've ever seen! The "locomotive" in question (Northern Pacific Shop Loco No. 6) has the front of an EMC doodlebug, but its back is a smaller motor on what looks like a flatbed frame! Unfortunately, the website associated with this picture no longer works, so that is why I am calling on any and all members of railroad.net to provide any information on this very interesting addition of shop rebuilds.
