Hi,
I'm Kevin Evans a member of the NMSL&RHS,
http://www.nmrhs.org/

and we have two "prior service" rail cars thea we will be converting to tool cars to opperate with our locomotive, one was a former troop sleeper that was converted to a missle train command car, and the other was a Hospital "Kitchen car". Having spent 14 years in the army <mostly in maintenence companys> I Know the deapth of information contained in the manuals. This information would be extremly useful when we get to restoring the cars for opperations. Any help would be highly appreciated.

To find the tech manuals, possibly try these two avenues:
1. Give a call over to the Army Transportation Museum at Ft. Eustis (I don't think BRAC has closed them yet). You can get contact info at http://www.visitwilliamsburg.com/us_arm ... museum.htm. If they don't have access to the info, they should be able to give you better direction.
2. Even try the University libraries. When I was at Rutgers, I found a Huge selection of TMs and FMs in their basement which totally surprised me.
