I went looking today for some updated information on the restoration of this "light" 4-8-4 that was underway down at the NH&I in Pennsylvannia. The volunteer web site is no longer up and I read where the engine is now stored outside on a siding.
Does anyone know what became of this project? Sad, as i was following its rebuild with great antisipation. Sign of the time?
