Myerstown sees 40 to 50 trains a day. It is on the NS Harrisburg Line. Elk roofing usually gets shifted 2 or 3 times a week by a local based in Reading. Inbound loaded covered hoppers of "grannies", roofing granules and out bound loaded boxcars of shingles. The local that shifts the plant is the H31 or H33.
