Nice pictures and nice report that followed. I certainly learned about stuff I wasn't previously aware of (removing the trestle) and found it very interesting.
It takes real skill to choke on air, fall up the stairs and trip over nothing. I have those skills.

I am just finishing up on my 3" gauge model of the Waumbek and I have a question.
The whistle rope passes through the front upper wall of the cab and then heads over to the engineer.
Is there a handle on the rope or is it just tied off on the ceiling support?
