Last summer they removed the railroad crossing on Oak Rd. in Vineland that was once a part of the CRR (not to be confused with the other Oak Rd. crossing at the Blvd that used to be the PRSL) This summer they've removed more rails along Hendee road, and I think they've also removed some rail geographic west of Maine Rd.on that line as well. Any ideas on what is going on?

Someone in another thread disscussed the possibility of the removale being done by conrail to make the track officially out of service, but it seems like an awfully large amount of track was removed for that. Its really a shame now that the hospitality creek bridge has been replaced that SRNJ can't find a way to reopen this line. If they ever build the glassboro light rail/patco extension, this could be used as an alternate route to get frieght to Vineland and Millville via Winslow durring construction.
