#18 just arrived @ BAKER from the East with PV Pullman Kitchi Gammi Club in tow. About to reverse onto home rails and head down the hill.

18 running light just went west over the Passaic River in Newark. Probably just dropped off the pv's at the MMC for the charter trip on the Atlantic City Line tomorrow.

We want the date of the "sightings" mentioned in the text. Example, "I saw the M&E 17 running light at Denville, on 9-9-88" Posts without dates in the posting, are subject to deletion. Same holds true for topic titles. Make the date part of the title. Thanks

Yes, NJ Transit operated a charter special train for M&E on Saturday October 6th.

Cherry Hill to Atlantic City and return, with the consist deadheading between the MMC and Cherry Hill in each direction. Two NJ transit locomotives, 2 NJ Transit coaches and PVs OHIO RIVER, ALDER FALLS and MOUNT VERNON.

The client was the some folks that M&E took up to Port Jervis and back a few years ago.

I passed the M&E 18 with two private cars and three ex-NJT Whippany Rail Museum coaches today 09OCT07 at around 12:30pm on the NJ Transit Main Line at West End. They came off the west leg of the West End wye. Also the Kitchie Gamma Club car was seen at the MMC today.

This morning, in North Elizabeth, I saw Kitchi Gammi Club at the tail end of a southbound Amtrak train. What's this about?

KITCHI GAMMI CLUB operated NYP-WAS, WAS-RVR, spent Friday night parked in Richmond, then RVR-WAS and WAS-NYP. The car has been retrucked with a freshly rebuilt set of GSI OSH tread brake trucks that were originally under a 1949 New Haven 48 seat dining car.

KITCHI GAMMI CLUB and MOUNT VERNON will be traveling in Bennett Levin's "Susquehanna" Philadelphia - Steamtown - Olean - Philadelphia on November 2nd - 5th, moving betrween NYP and PHL in both directions on Amtrak's Pennsylvanian.

NJT's Aqua-Train @ BAKER heading East right now with the 'tug boat' leading two tankers and a GP40-FH-2 pushing !

Train was paused on the M&E lead ( lunch break ) before entering home rails and reversing direction thru the interlockings.

Oh and she was working/washing the rails as she headed East.

Yes, KITCHI GAMMI CLUB does get around.

It is now getting around more smoothly since it has been retrucked with newly rebuilt six wheel trucks from a 1948 Pullman Standard New Haven dining car.

KGC's charter from New York to Boston went northeast on the shore line (NEC) on regional train 66, but returned to New York via the Berkshires, Albany and the Hudson.

Today (10/31/2007) KITCHI GAMMI CLUB and MOUNT VERNON are in the Amtrak coach yard adjacent to 30th Street Station Philadelphia, awaiting Friday morning's departure on Juniata Terminal Company's "Susquehanna" special train to Steamtown and Olean and return.
