is this *our* Medina?
I was just checking out this webpage:
http://www.thedieselshop.us/PRSVDalco.HTML

and it has listed:

Alco-GE S1
Relco 713
Nashville, Chattannooga & St. Louis
Medina RR & Museum

Is there another Medina RR museum somewhere besides NY?
a google search only brings up the Medina, NY museum..
and unfortunately that Alco webpage does not lists states.
I was just out to Medina a few weeks ago, and Marty didnt mention anything about getting a locomotive!
anyone know what is up with this?
I have a feeling this is *not* the Medina NY museum..
although it could be! :P
if so, the unit isnt there yet!

I saw Marty a couple times over the last 2 months, and just like you, Scot, nothing was mentioned. It would be cool, though!

Naaaa, That has to be somewhere else. But like scotty, I also did a search and found nothing on another Medina museum, or anything. I know that there is no "Medina RR" so to speak. The excursions they run are via Falls road trackage, with Falls Road units, and WNYRHS coaches. Perhaps the site has it wrong??? It hasen't been updated for a few months.

Legally it is ours. CSX can't move it without it being restored to FRA approved condition. They will not allow it to be moved 25 miles as a piece of scrap. Our quote for trucking it to Medina is about $15,000.00 and we don't have that yet.

are you going to paint it up NYC?
where is it now?
I will add it to the Alco survivors! :P
thanks,
Scot
