Hello all,
I've been looking for an accident report from the NTSB, CTSB or similar agency, in which a freight train (preferably operated by one of the class 1 railroads) is derailed due to an undetected broken rail on top of a tie plate. No recent incidents come to mind, and Google hasn't produced any useable results so I thought I'd try asking here. If anybody knows of any specific incident, or a way in which I could search for one please share it.
Note: I wasn't really sure where to post this, but since I'm looking for a class 1 freight train derailment I thought it would be best left here.
