Is UP the new UPS? Offering door-door service!

I just watched a UP commercial tonite and the whole thing was about door to door shipping with no emphasis on rail. I visited the UP web site and its totally revamped. It no longer a rr site but more like a rip off of Fedex or UPS.

So is UP trying to do what DHL failed so miserably at?

Keep in mind that as I was told by an instructor from UP, several years ago, not sure when, but UPS, was owned by Union Pacific, so UP does have some package handling experience. Also note that DHL is suddenly making a comeback. I have been seeing the yellow/red vans appear again. Maybe DHL is UP with a mask. After all Yellow and Red hmmmm.

UP owned Overnight Trucking (which was a boondoggle) and subsequent to mounting losses, it was sold to UPS.
