History of Hamburg Street Yard, Buffalo

The last time I rode my bike down there, I didn't think Linde received a train in a long time simply based on the condition of the rails leading into the plant.

But I did catch a train heading down to Safety-Kleen about 2 years ago.

I take it that to go back up Katherine Street would be a shove move. Is that the reason for the caboose? It's nice to see one in use, anyway.

The first picture is actually the shove move back up the line. But I don't remember if somebody was standing on the caboose while moving.
