I grew up in Plainville under PC and CR. What was the traffic frequency like on the line in New Haven days? In my time it was just a branch.

In the 1940's between Waterbury and Hartford, there was up to 8 passenger trains and 8 freight trains on week days. After 1954 there was a stead decline of trains. More detail information is in NH Shoreliner vol. 29 is 2.
